COMPOSITE THREADS: AN EXPLORATION OF FiBER ART

This presentationi offers a look at the rich and evoling world of quilt making. Through a variety of techniques, materials and styles, Paula explores how fabric, color, pattern and stitch can be combined to create quilts that are both visually compelling and deeply personal.  The talk will highlight the diverse possibilities within contemporary quilt making from traditional piecing and applique to improvisational composition, contemporary design and experimental approaches to surface design and texture.
